FCC Student MinIsitries

Helping students look more like Jesus every day in every way.

Making disciples…

Serving next Generations

At Faith Covenant, we firmly believe in our students and love to see God work within their lives and ministry.  We hold to what it says in 1 Timothy 4:12: “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”

Wednesday Night Gathering

Middle & High School:
6:30pm-8:00pm – Wednesday

Regardless of which school you go to or how many times you have or haven’t been to church, any student is welcome on Wednesday and Sunday nights. Our Wednesday and Sunday night gatherings serve as an “on-ramp” to all thing’s student ministries, and it’s a blast!

Though we always make it a point to have fun, we also take our relationship with Jesus Christ very seriously. Each night is focused on Gospel-centered teaching that helps students navigate their world and give answers to real questions.

Additionally, our ministry offers small groups. We believe we were created to do life together. Students are plugged into grade and gender-specific small groups each week with leaders who help point them to Jesus.

Aspen D-Teams: Sunday Mornings

8:30 am for Middle School

On Sunday Morning, during our 8:30 am service, we offer our Aspen study to students.  We are challenging students to read God’s Word every day and then discuss it in a group setting each week. We want students to not just know about God, but know Him personally. This happens through time in His Word and connecting it to their every day lives. D-Teams stands for Discipleship Teams, helping students be disciples who make disciples. If your student is interested in joining, email jdean@fccstpete.com for details on when the next study begins.

We believe students have a unique impact and influence in our world, our city and in church. There are opportunities all throughout Faith Covenant Church for students to get involved in the work of the Gospel: worship team, sound and audio, small group leaders, nursery, children’s ministry, puppets, and much more. Our students are not the church of tomorrow. They are a vital part of who we are today.

Summer Missions

Following the Acts 1:8 model, summer missions is designed to encourage and equip students to a life-long involvement in the work of the Gospel both locally and globally. It is on these trips that we believe some of the best disciples are made. Students will have various opportunities to take the message and love of Christ to a lost and dying world. While at the same time, using these trips and experiences as a spring board into ministry back home

Young Adult Gathering Friday Nights

Time: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Location: Upstairs

Come as you are, we will have a seat waiting for you. If you are (18-25) and looking for a community where you can be yourself, build friendships, and grow in your relationship with Jesus, our Sunday night gatherings are for you.

Our Friday night gatherings are a place where you can build community, connect with others who are facing similar issues, and engage in Gospel-focused teachings that help our young adults navigate through life’s questions. Regardless of your church background, you are welcomed here!

During these times, our young adults will pray for one another, encourage one another, and spend time searching for answers for the issues our young adults face on their campus or environment. Currently, we are in a series entitled How to Find a Church, where we are visiting churches around St. Pete to discuss what to look for when searching for a place to call home. We believe this is a valuable skill for our young adults to learn.

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.
